 Wilson Home Health has an office in Vanceboro, Maysville, and Greenville.  They serve clients in Jones, Craven, Pamlico, Beaufort, Pitt, and Onslow counties.  Their goal is to provide services in the home thus preventing nursing home placement.

They can provide service to all clients who receive Medicaid, SSI, and Public Assistance.  They will accept Private pay and private insurance.

They do not provide service for Medicare payments.

Cost: $14.00 per hour for private pay.

Referrals:  Are made by physician, friend, relative or self.

Services Available: Assistance with feeding, ambulating, bathing, toileting personal grooming, and dressing as well as encouragement and direction on taking own medications.    

With a doctor’s order someone receiving Medicaid, SSI or Public Assistance may receive up to 2 ½ hours of service a day. An RN comes into the home to do an evaluation and the service is authorized according to need.

For private pay or private insurance 24 hour service may be available.  Please call the office for more information.

The aides providing service are CNAs I or II.  The RN who makes assignments and assesses the case every 60 days supervises them.

The CNAs can do blood sugar tests, vital signs, light cooking and cleaning as well as the services listed above.  They will also shop for the client. (They may not take the client with them)
