The Vanceboro Christian Help Center is supported by local churches and citizens in the Vanceboro area.  Their Board members represent the local community.

The Center:  Is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30AM to 12:00 noon

Eligibility Anyone in need living in the Northern part of Craven County including: Vanceboro, Ernul, Epworth, Askins and Spring Garden area  is eligible and can apply for help by filling out an application.  ID and proof of income for each member of the household is required.

Benefits Produce/Bakery available weekly

                      Meat/canned food available monthly

                      Clothing/Furniture may be available  

                     "No cash assistance of any type is provided"

Information and referral to other services as appropriate

Informational meetings: Provide speakers to cover various topics.

The center is funded via community and individual donations. Donations of clothing, furniture, and rummage items are appreciated.  These items are given to clients in need or sold to benefit the Center operations.  Donate to or shop at the
