THE
OASIS Wellness City Location: Downtown New Bern at the corner of George and Broad Street Recovery Innovations of North Carolina was incorporated in 2007 as a non-profit organization and part of Recovery Innovations (formerly META Services) companies. Through its local non-profit corporations, RI offers a range of recovery based services in Arizona, California, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The Oasis Wellness City is a community made up of individuals embarking on or expanding their recovery from significant mental health and/or addiction challenges. It is founded on the recovery principles of hope, personal choice, empowerment, development of an environment of wellness and independence, and the encouragement of spirituality and community enriched by one’s contribution. Cost: There is No Charge for any activities A staff of well trained peers who have experienced their own recovery challenges and successes will share what they have learned. Through Recovery Instructors they offer a range of classes and activities that promote wellness and recovery based on the six dimensions of Wellness:
