The SAFE HOUSE is made available to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence.  It is designed to help them separate from their abusers and move on to a
life style that is free of domestic and family violence.         

The SAFE HOUSE is available for a few days to several months or more, until a secure living situation can be established.  Continued residence at the SAFE HOUSE is dependent upon the victim’s willingness to set goals and make progress towards self-sufficiency, as well as adherence to the rules that guide the residents and staff. 

There is no cost to the victims for the use of the SAFE HOUSE, and meals are provided as well as basic toiletries. Staff and volunteers provide transportation as necessary.

The SAFE HOUSE is supervised at all times.  The shelter staff is there to provide support, goal planning, and information about services available to the victims of domestic violence.
