PORT Human Services is a CARF Accredited, Private Non-Profit Agency that treats those suffering from Mental Illness and/or Substance Abuse.  They provide a full continuum of care for adults and children.  Services offered include the following:

·         Comprehensive Clinical Assessments

·         Substance Abuse Assessments

·         Individual and Group Therapy for Mental Health and Substance Abuse

·         Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT)

·         Psychiatric Evaluations

·         Medication Management

·         Opioid Replacement Therapy (Methadone and Suboxone Program)

·         Crisis After-Hours at Craven Regional Medical Center

·         Referral to PORT Human Services Facility Based Crisis in Greenville or Ahoskie

·         Domestic Violence Offender Treatment Program – Craven and Carteret County

·         Anger Management Program

·         School Referrals (Return to school assessments)

·         Community Supports

·         Psychosocial Rehabilitation (Anchor House)

·         Prevention and Adolescent Outreach  in Craven, Jones, Pamlico Schools

·         Majors Program (SA Adolescents involved with court system)

·         Shelter Plus Care Program

Services are provided by the most qualified professionals adhering to a high standard of quality and values. They invite you to discover all that PORT has to offer as they believe that mental illness, alcoholism and drug dependence are treatable and persons are capable of achieving the outcomes they desire. PHS accepts private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and self payments.

If you currently do not have insurance they may be able to help you access to funds to help support your treatment. Contact them for more information and a screening for services.
