PORT Human Services is a private non-profit organization which provides substance abuse and mental health services and supports to the people of Eastern North Carolina.  The central office is located in Greenville, NC and there are offices located in New Bern, Pamlico County, and on 70 East.

If consumer has no preference the first appointment for services should be made through Neuse Center LME (Local Management Entity) for screening and referral.  The consumer can then choose any provider or agency in the area.

Services:

    Coping Skills Groups                       Thurs  9:30 – 11:00 AM

               Intervention provided by a qualified professional focuses on promoting symptom stability, increases coping
               skills and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community.

     Therapy Services                          Wednesday 9:00 -5:00  &  Tues.& Thurs.  1:00 – 5:00  

               One on one therapy with master’s level licensed Clinician

      Psychiatric Medication Services    Thursday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

               Certified Physician Assistant prescribes medications

      Community Support Services for Adults and Children

                Case management by qualified professionals, Associate Professionals and Paraprofessionals provides
                service coordination, referral linkage, skill building and supportive counseling. This is both a direct and
                indirect service which provides direct intervention and also arranges, coordinates, and monitors services on
                behalf of the recipient.
