          When one has the beginning symptoms of memory loss, the first thought is always that it is the beginning of Alzheimer’s disease.  This, many times is not the reason for our memory deficit and should be treated in other ways.

          The first step in deciding just what is causing the memory loss is to see your family doctor and have a complete physical to rule out all other causes of memory loss.  If your physician can not determine the cause of your memory loss, he may refer you to:
