Lifeline is a national provider of personal emergency response systems whose main office and response center is in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Lifeline provides two-way communication at the press of a button 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. If help is needed it can be sent quickly.

The help console is a state of the art device:

-   With a 15-24 hour backup battery, which will recharge when power is restored. 
            -   With a high talk mode that increases the sensitivity of the microphone and the volume of the
                    speaker to enhance listening capability between the response center operator and the
                    person needing assistance. 
             -  With automatic self-testing and also monitoring of the personal help button battery. The
                    personal help button, which can be worn around the neck or wrist, is 100% waterproof
                    and should be worn in the shower or bath.

Cost: $40.00 set up fee and $35.00 per month (6800 model)

Services available on this model:
          All calls go to the monitoring center and help is dispatched as needed
          Inactivity Alarm for daily check in on a 12 or 24 hour basis
          Can answer home phone with personal help button
          Can support multiple personal help buttons
          Unit self-tests daily
          Access package available for those unable to press a personal help button
