Universal provides comprehensive and integrated mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services to our clients in North Carolina. The services provided in the New Bern, Office include: Alternative Family Living (AFL) – Residential placement in a licensed home Camp – One week in the Spring & Winter and two months in the Summer § All sessions focus on individual goals as written in the Service Plan § Activities include community outings, social interaction and daily living skills § Funded by either private pay, State Funded Services or CAP Services CAP-MR/DD Waiver Services – Habilitative and Supportive § Home and Community supports (Individual & Group) § Personal Care (Regular & Enhanced) § Respite (Regular & Nursing) Developmental Therapy – Mentor service for DD consumers Respite Services – Hourly & Overnight to provide a break for the primary caregiver 9/2006 |
