General office hours: 9 AM to 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday SENIOR PHARMACY PROGRAM The Senior Pharmacy Program serves eligible seniors, ages 60 and over, with voucher assistance towards prescription costs. Seniors must be a resident of Carteret, Craven, Jones or Pamlico Counties. Chronic illnesses covered are: diabetes, heart disease, cancer, hypertension, arthritis, glaucoma, pulmonary diseases, clinical depression, and acid reflux. Temporary voucher assistance can be given to those who may not qualify for monthly assistance. The Senior Pharmacy Program does not serve those who receive Medicaid benefits but assists with Medicare Part D co-pay costs. Health awareness materials and information and referral to other community resources are also part of this program's services.
