Bayview Nursing Center is a full service nursing center.  
 

Directions:  Located off West Neuse Blvd.  Go West on Neuse until you get to the BSH Plant. 
Take the first right after the Plant, and you can see Bayview on the left about 1/8 of a mile ahead.
 

Bed capacity is 80.  60  Medicare/Medicaid certified skilled and 20 rest home.

All rooms are semi-private.  Private rooms on availability at an additional charge.

The Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance and private pay patients.  

The Center accepts short-term rehabilitation patients.

The Center provides skilled care as well as custodial care.

Cost of care:  $165.00/day for a semi-private nursing home bed.
                       Semi-private rest home bed rates depend on client’s need.

         Independent,  includes medication administration                  $2000.00/mo

         Level 1 - Requires encouragement and some assistance         2150.00/mo

         Level 2 - Requires limited hands on assistance                       2300.00/mo

         Level 3 - Requires help with bathing must be fed                     2800.00/mo

         Level 4 - Requires total care with ADLs                                  3390.00/mo

 There is a new short term rehabilitation unit with 20 private rooms with private baths.
