Sterling House consists of 42 apartments, which are studio
size to 2-bedroom size.
Sterling
House is an Assisted Care
Facility. There is a base rate for the apartments and additional
charges are incurred, as additional services are needed. A “your care
assessment” is done
to determine the additional charges.
This is a private pay facility. Below
is a list of the monthly rental fees. There is a one-time community fee
(move-in fee), which is non-refundable except under certain conditions.
Be
sure to ask about this fee.
Sterling House provides a secure environment
with specialized life skills programming and personal care assistance
for patients that require Alzheimer’s or Dementia care.
If nursing services are required, the
home health nurses can provide this care and Medicare
is billed for their service.
The monthly fees for the apartment
include a Microwave oven, a small refrigerator, 3 meals (restaurant style)
and snacks, laundry and house keeping, transportation to the Dr. and the
Mall, and a personal mailbox. Life enrichment activities are also
included. Not included is
the phone and cable service.
Each apartment has an emergency cord
in bathroom and bedroom as well an intercom.
All baths are handicap baths with roll in showers.
A pet is allowed.
